Royal Author Faces Business Setback as UK Authorities Remove His Company from Register
Omid Scobie, the royal author closely linked to Harry and Meghan Markle, has had his publishing company, MeYou, officially dissolved following a strike-off notice issued in December.
The 43-year-old biographer, who founded MeYou in 2016, failed to respond to Companies House warnings about its inactive status, leading to its removal from the official register. The UK government agency routinely strikes off businesses deemed no longer operational.
Scobie first gained prominence in 2020 with Finding Freedom, chronicling Harry and Meghan’s departure from royal life. His 2023 book, Endgame, stirred controversy with its sharp critique of the monarchy.
Now residing in California like the Sussexes, Scobie has not publicly addressed the dissolution of his company, which marks a notable professional setback.
