Comedian reveals regrets over past ink choices on late-night show
Pete Davidson has candidly reflected on his tattoo regrets, revealing the worst ink he has ever gotten during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Thursday, February 6.
The Saturday Night Live alum, who has been undergoing a lengthy tattoo removal process, joked that he was eager to get rid of his entire collection. When asked by Meyers if there were any tattoos he was particularly happy to remove, Davidson quipped, “All of them.”
Hinting that most of his tattoos were impulsively done before rehab, the Bodies Bodies Bodies star admitted, “So I got the dumbest tattoos.”
Pressed for specifics, the 31-year-old comedian shared that his ink includes a “collection of cartoons smoking blunts,” such as “a Muppet smoking a blunt” and “the Tootsie Pop owl smoking a blunt.” He laughed about the absurdity, noting, “Which is weird ‘cause I wasn’t even old enough to be around for that cartoon, that commercial.”
Davidson, who has been steadily erasing his ink, revealed that he hopes to have all his tattoos removed by the time he turns 40. This comes after he previously told PEOPLE in 2021 that he had aimed to be tattoo-free by 30.
