Duke of York faces renewed scrutiny over Epstein links
Prince Andrew has been urged to avoid traveling to the US amid mounting calls for a fresh FBI investigation into his connections with Jeffrey Epstein.
The Duke of York is reportedly “terrified” of setting foot in America as pressure builds for authorities to reopen inquiries following claims that he remained in contact with Epstein in 2011. According to The Sun, legal representatives for Epstein’s victims are pushing for the UK government to compel Andrew to answer further questions.
A close associate of the Duke revealed, “He is terrified if he goes to America, he could be arrested, face civil action, or be subpoenaed. He used to be ‘Air Miles Andy,’ but he will never risk going to America again.”
Despite speculation that Andrew is considering a visit to his nephew Harry in Montecito, advisers are cautioning against any US trip, fearing it could escalate legal troubles and create further issues for King Charles.
Since the scandal emerged, Andrew has largely remained in the UK, apart from a visit to Bahrain, where he maintains strong ties. While the Duke has consistently denied allegations of wrongdoing, he reached an out-of-court settlement with Virginia Giuffre in 2022, reportedly paying millions to end the lawsuit.
With legal scrutiny intensifying, Andrew’s future remains uncertain as he navigates the ongoing fallout from his association with Epstein.
