Duke reportedly uneasy about daughter’s inclusion in Meghan’s brand promotion
Harry is reportedly uncomfortable with Meghan Markle’s decision to feature their daughter, Princess Lilibet, in promotional material for her new lifestyle brand, As Ever.
The brand’s website includes an image of Meghan running barefoot through a field with Lilibet, though the child's face is hidden. The move has sparked debate, as it seemingly contrasts with Harry’s longstanding commitment to shielding their children from public exposure.
Royal expert Duncan Larcombe suggested that Meghan’s decision may have surprised royal watchers, given Harry’s vocal concerns about media intrusion. “There’s likely some truth to the idea that Harry and Meghan don’t entirely see eye-to-eye on this issue,” he told OK! magazine, noting that Meghan’s gradual approach to sharing glimpses of their children marks a shift.
Meghan recently outlined her vision for As Ever, which will focus on food, gardening, and entertaining—reflecting her personal interests.
Meanwhile, Harry has previously spoken about his deep concerns regarding media attention, emphasising his desire to "break the cycle" of royal suffering. His past remarks suggest that Meghan’s latest branding decision could be a potential source of tension between the couple.
