Emotional Moment for Sussexes Amid Palace’s Latest Statement on the Monarch
Meghan Markle and Harry were visibly emotional during their visit to Canada for the Invictus Games after Buckingham Palace released a video message from King Charles III.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen wiping away tears as they supported each other during the event, which celebrates injured soldiers and their families. Their emotions were further heightened when King Charles appeared in a video alongside David and Victoria Beckham, former friends of the Sussexes.
The Palace’s update came as Harry delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the games in Vancouver. However, the King has yet to acknowledge his son’s event, instead focusing on a royal engagement in the UK.
The video shared by the Palace highlighted a reception at Highgrove, with a caption: “UK-Italy relations, slow food and sustainable fashion with The King and Queen at @highgrovegarden last night. Thank you @stanleytucci @italianembassyinuk @kingsfdn for a wonderful evening.”
Meanwhile, the Palace also released new images of Duchess Sophie and Prince Edward’s Nepal visit, where they explored stunning landscapes before concluding their trip in the picturesque hill village of Ghandruk.
