Duke and Duchess of Sussex Delight Fans with Heartwarming Gesture
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shared a touching moment with a British family during the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025, delighting fans with their warm and engaging presence.
The couple, who have made headlines with their affectionate public appearances throughout the event, reconnected with a British family they had previously met at the last Invictus Games in Düsseldorf.
During the skeleton competition at the Whistler Sliding Centre, Harry and Meghan were seen chatting with Benjamin Evans, 12, and his six-year-old brother, Sebastian, while their father, Mike, competed in the event.
According to The Mirror, the boys' mother, Rachel, shared, “The boys were talking to Meghan about how they went on a tube ride and got stuck. They met her before at the last Games in Düsseldorf.”
The Invictus Games, Harry’s passion project, officially began in Canada on February 8. At the opening ceremony, the Duke of Sussex delivered an inspiring speech, praising the resilience and determination of the veterans.
“At this moment when there is no shortage of crises, no absence of uncertainty, no lack of weak moral character in the world, the values you embody—the way you carry yourselves—not only at the Invictus Games but each and every day… your courage, your resilience, your humanity… illuminate a path forward for us all. And for that, we thank you,” he said.
The couple’s warm interaction with the Evans family further showcased their ongoing dedication to the Invictus Games and its inspiring community.
