Royal Brothers Share Surprising Childhood Trait in New Revelation
Prince Harry and Prince William may be estranged, but they have been unexpectedly linked once again—this time through an amusing palace revelation.
While the Duke of Sussex remains in Canada for the Invictus Games alongside Meghan Markle, and the Prince of Wales continues his royal duties on behalf of King Charles, a new book has shed light on a shared childhood habit that connected them.
Royal biographer Tom Quinn’s latest work, Yes Ma’am: The Secret Life of Royal Servants, reveals that palace staff once gave both brothers an unexpected title: the “messiest royals.”
Quinn shared with Life & Style that royal staff have long been privy to behind-the-scenes secrets, even before signing non-disclosure agreements. According to one former servant of the late Queen Mother, William Talon, young William and Harry were so reluctant to clean up after themselves that they seemed convinced magical beings handled their mess.
“One servant joked to me that she thought William and Harry as children believed fairies came into their room at night and tidied everything up,” Quinn revealed.
While the brothers remain on separate paths, this lighthearted revelation offers a rare glimpse into their shared upbringing—proving that despite their differences, some things will always connect them.
