Duke of Sussex Reflects on Trauma and Therapy During Invictus Games
Prince Harry has opened up about his emotional struggles during the Invictus Games, making a poignant admission following King Charles' recent stern message regarding their fractured relationship.
In an interview with a Canadian television network, the Duke of Sussex revealed that he turned to therapy after being deeply moved by the stories of injured military veterans.
The former working royal spoke about his journey in dealing with trauma, especially after hearing a Canadian officer’s account of suffering from PTSD due to exposure to wartime grief.
"People come forward more to share their stories, and I don't always get the chance to have that really deep conversation with them," Harry explained. "A lot of times I do. Timing is everything, and the last thing I want to do is be the person to probe a little bit deeper. I have therapy."
His comments come after a Daily Mail report claimed that King Charles views his son as a source of "strain and worry."
A royal insider revealed, "While he is sorry that he does not have a relationship with his grandchildren in America, it is easier for his peace of mind that there’s an ocean between him and Harry."
