Royal author claims Duke feels 'bored' despite expressing love for American lifestyle
Despite Harry’s public praise for his new life in California, royal author Tom Quinn claims the Duke of Sussex is feeling "bored" and unfulfilled. According to Quinn, Harry’s friends believe his American lifestyle has not turned out as he had hoped.
"He just doesn't have anything to do. From childhood, he was trained to be a royal, attending charitable events and meeting the public, and he has thrown all that away," Quinn explained.
While Harry has reportedly tried to settle into his Montecito home by walking the dog and spending time with his children, friends claim he remains restless. Quinn added, "The truth is he is bored. He can't leave the mansion without a security detail, and neighbours—many of whom are more famous—barely notice him."
However, Harry himself paints a different picture. Speaking at an event in December, he expressed appreciation for the privacy and freedom his California life offers, stating it allows him to do things he "undoubtedly wouldn't be able to do in the UK." He also shared his belief that his late mother, Princess Diana, would have supported his decision to live in the US.
Although Harry insists he enjoys raising his children in California, he has expressed a desire for them to connect with the UK. Reports now suggest that Harry is planning a return visit, highlighting his continued ties to his home country.
