Prince Harry’s ‘Temperament’ and Meghan’s ‘Inappropriate’ Request Revealed in New Book

Bombshell Claims Emerge About Sussexes’ Royal Life and Struggles

A forthcoming book, Yes, Ma’am: The Secret Life of Royal Servants by Tom Quinn, has unveiled surprising allegations about Prince Harry’s temperament and Meghan Markle’s dissatisfaction with royal accommodations.

According to an insider who worked for the Duke of Sussex, Harry was given a derogatory nickname by palace staff, comparing him to a hapless character from the BBC comedy series Blackadder.

“The joke used to be that Harry was very much like the Prince Regent in Blackadder. People used to say that without a servant, Harry would take two weeks to put his trousers on,” the source claimed.

The insider recounted an incident where they accidentally muddled some papers on Harry’s desk, prompting an “out of proportion” reaction from the prince. They suggested that other staff had similar experiences with his temper.

Meanwhile, the book also claims that Meghan felt Nottingham Cottage was too small for her and Harry, allegedly seeing it as a sign of the Royal Family’s lack of respect for her husband. However, palace staff reportedly dismissed this view, arguing that royals do not prioritise material possessions due to always having them.

Royal author Tom Quinn noted that Harry did not view Nottingham Cottage as inadequate, but Meghan found it difficult to accept living in a smaller home while William and Catherine resided in Kensington Palace with live-in staff.

Additionally, a former Kensington Palace staffer revealed that Meghan disliked the strict protocols in place, particularly regarding scheduling her movements to avoid clashing with senior royals.

Ahead of Archie’s birth, Harry and Meghan moved to Frogmore Cottage, a wedding gift from the late Queen. However, the book alleges that Meghan was also unhappy with their new home and made a request to the Queen that was deemed “inappropriate.”

These latest revelations add to the ongoing scrutiny surrounding Harry and Meghan’s time within the royal family and their complex relationship with palace traditions.
