Despite recently recovering from a concussion, Anne has quickly resumed her royal duties, particularly as the number of senior working royals remains limited. Charles, however, reportedly “can’t bear the thought” of his sister feeling pressured to take on additional responsibilities due to his health challenges.
The conversation took an emotional turn when the monarch, overwhelmed by Anne’s dedication, broke down in tears. “In private, he is simply overjoyed that she’ll be there with him until the end,” the aide revealed. “It was an unusually emotional moment for Charles.”
