Royal Expert Dismisses Comparisons Between King Charles’ Documentary and Harry’s Media Moves

Upcoming Amazon film explores monarch’s philosophy amid streaming debate

King Charles’ upcoming Amazon Prime documentary has sparked comparisons with Prince Harry’s media ventures, but royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams insists the two projects are worlds apart.

GB News presenter Dawn Neesom suggested that Charles is following in Harry’s footsteps by embracing a major streaming platform, much like the Duke of Sussex did with his Netflix docuseries. However, Fitzwilliams argued that the King’s film is “the complete opposite,” focusing on his philosophy of harmony and sustainability rather than personal revelations.

Currently being filmed at Dumfries House in Scotland, the documentary is expected to offer insights into Charles’ longstanding commitment to environmental causes. Slated for release in late 2025 or early 2026, the project marks a rare collaboration between the Royal Family and a global streaming giant, deviating from their traditional partnerships with British broadcasters.
