Daughters Stand by Their Father as He Navigates Public Backlash
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie continue to stand by their father, Prince Andrew, despite the ongoing scrutiny surrounding his past associations, royal expert Arthur Edwards has revealed.
Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive Show, Edwards noted that, much like their mother, Sarah Ferguson, the sisters remain steadfast in their support for Andrew, even as his reputation remains tarnished.
“They love their father. He has always been good to them,” Edwards said, adding that while they may wish for a fresh start for him, the likelihood of a major change remains uncertain.
Andrew’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein have significantly impacted his standing within the royal family. His royal privileges have steadily diminished, with King Charles removing his private security detail last year and withdrawing financial support.
Despite these setbacks, Beatrice and Eugenie have maintained a close relationship with their father. Edwards believes that avoiding public attention would be the best course of action for Andrew at this stage. “The best thing for him now is to lead a quiet life,” he advised.
However, recent developments continue to reignite controversy. Last month, a resurfaced 2010 photograph contradicted Andrew’s past claims that he had severed ties with Epstein, drawing renewed public interest and adding further uncertainty to his future.
