Singer reportedly removes actress from Super Bowl guestlist amid Justin Baldoni lawsuit
Taylor Swift has made a surprising decision regarding her friendship with Blake Lively, opting to distance herself from the actress amid the ongoing legal battle involving Justin Baldoni.
According to a source speaking to DailyMail.com, Swift may have excluded Lively from her Super Bowl guestlist as she prepares to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, in his game against the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9. “Blake is not attending the Super Bowl with Taylor,” the insider confirmed.
Lively has reportedly remained out of the public eye since the legal dispute began. “Taylor wants nothing to do with this trial and court case,” the source added.
The rift comes after Swift allegedly felt “used” by Lively in the escalating feud between the actress and It Ends With Us co-star Baldoni. Baldoni has claimed in a $400 million lawsuit that Lively invoked Swift’s name to pressure him into accepting changes to the film’s script.
In his legal filing, Baldoni alleged that Swift’s presence at a meeting with Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, made him feel compelled to comply with the actress’s creative demands. Reports later suggested that Swift was unaware of Baldoni’s involvement in the meeting and was surprised to hear Lively had referred to her as “a dragon” in the dispute.
Despite the ongoing tensions, insiders have clarified that Swift had no professional role in the film. “Taylor has always been Blake's friend, but she doesn't have any involvement in the case,” a source told US Weekly. “She was not a producer on the movie and had no creative input.”
