Young royals set for a quieter year as parents prioritise privacy
Royal fans hoping for frequent glimpses of the children in 2025 may be disappointed, as a royal expert predicts a more private year for them.
According to biographer Robert Hardman, the Prince and Princess of Wales are keen to limit their children’s public exposure, maintaining a balanced approach to their royal roles. Speaking to Marie Claire, he noted, “I don’t believe we’ll see them any more than what is traditionally expected.”
Their first likely appearance could be at the Easter church service in April, followed by their expected presence at Trooping the Colour in June, marking the monarch’s birthday. Later in the year, they may participate in Princess Kate’s Together at Christmas carol concert in December, with a potential appearance at VE Day commemorations.
If this holds true, it would contrast with 2024, when the children made several high-profile appearances, including attending a Taylor Swift Eras Tour concert in London.
