Hollywood Star Shares Supportive Message Amid ‘As Ever’ Comparisons
Gwyneth Paltrow has offered words of encouragement to Meghan Markle as the Duchess of Sussex faces scrutiny over her newly rebranded lifestyle brand, As Ever.
Addressing comparisons between As Ever and her own wellness company Goop, the actress and entrepreneur welcomed Meghan to the industry in a recent interview. Paltrow emphasised that there is “more than enough to go around” and encouraged women to pursue their ambitions without competition.
Quoting advice from her mother, Blythe Danner, she added, “Another woman is never your competition… What is right for you will find you.” The Iron Man star also expressed her instinct to support women in their endeavours.
Despite both residing in Montecito, Paltrow clarified that she has not formed a personal connection with Meghan and Harry, though she described the Duchess as “really lovely” from a past meeting. In a lighthearted moment, she joked about attempting to get past the couple’s security to deliver a homemade pie.
