Catherine's Secret Heartbreak Revealed in Newly Surfaced Conversation
Catherine, the future Queen, once candidly revealed her true feelings about her brief split from Prince William during a surprising exchange at a 2007 book launch.
At the previously undisclosed encounter, Catherine attended an event alongside her sister, Pippa Middleton, for Simon Sebag Montefiore's biography Young Stalin at Asprey Jewellers in Mayfair. There, TV presenter Tara Palmer-Tomkinson confronted Catherine about her recent breakup from William, which had been widely covered in the media.
When asked by Tara how she was coping with the highly publicised split, Catherine responded simply: "Fine," while noticeably blushing. Tara persisted, acknowledging how challenging it must be, prompting Catherine to reply more firmly yet uncomfortably, "Really, it's fine," effectively closing the conversation.
The couple, both 25 at the time, had parted ways briefly in 2007 before reuniting early the following year. William and Catherine married in 2011 and now have three children together. They will celebrate their 15-year wedding anniversary in April.
