King Charles has raised fresh concerns about his health, as a former royal butler reveals the monarch’s hectic daily routine, which shows no signs of slowing down despite his ongoing cancer treatment.
According to Express, Grant Harrold, a former aide to the royal family from 2004 to 2011, shared that the King works tirelessly throughout the day, rarely taking breaks.
Speaking on behalf of Spin Genie, Harrold described the King’s demanding schedule:
"The day would always begin with breakfast, the only difference with the royals is that it would always be taken in the dining room. You would certainly never catch the King having breakfast in bed."
He further revealed that Charles starts his royal engagements around 10 a.m. and "hardly ever stops for lunch," continuing his duties throughout the day.
The King also follows the royal tradition of an afternoon tea break between 4 and 6 p.m., but his work does not end there.
"All engagements are usually finished by the early evening, but sadly this is when the office work begins. Charles doesn't really stop," Harrold disclosed.
Buckingham Palace announced Charles' cancer diagnosis in early 2024, yet the monarch remains fully committed to his responsibilities. His unwavering dedication to duty has raised concerns among well-wishers, who worry about the toll his relentless schedule may take on his health.
