Duchess Shares Adorable Clip of Her Son Speaking with American Accent
Meghan Markle has thrilled fans by sharing a heartwarming new video featuring her eldest child, Prince Archie. The clip, which showcases the five-year-old’s American accent, was part of a series of candid family moments released by the Duchess of Sussex.
In one scene, Archie is seen watering plants in the family’s garden while speaking to his mother. "Mummy, I can do it if you want me to," he says, to which Meghan gently responds, "Only if you want." Fans quickly noticed his American accent, a reflection of his upbringing in California.
Since launching her Instagram profile, @meghan, on New Year's Day, Meghan has been offering glimpses into her family life in Montecito, regularly sharing photos and videos.
Royal fans were charmed by the update, with one commenting, "Archie’s voice! He’s no longer a baby," while another praised his politeness, writing, "He has manners."
Archie and his younger sister, Princess Lilibet, have grown up in Santa Barbara, California, following Harry and Meghan’s departure from royal duties in 2020. Born in Britain in 2019, Archie spent his early months in the UK before the family relocated to the United States, where Lilibet was born in 2021.
