Royal expert slams Duchess’s Netflix series as “eight episodes of sheer tedium”
Meghan Markle has encountered a major setback just days before the release of her new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, as criticism mounts over the quality of her recent content.
The Duchess of Sussex came under fire after royal commentator Kevin O’Sullivan described her newly released Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, as painfully dull. Speaking on TalkTV, O’Sullivan claimed, “With Love, Meghan broke new ground in tedium. It brought new depths of boringness. Meghan has no idea how to be entertaining or interesting.”
He added, “Every time she opens her mouth, you want to fall asleep; she is so, so dull. It’s just epic. That’s why With Love, Meghan is failing—because it’s eight episodes of sheer tedium.”
O’Sullivan went on to suggest that Meghan’s upcoming podcast may follow the same path as her previous series Archetypes, predicting it could be another “disaster” if it fails to deliver more engaging content.
He also advised that the Duchess should learn from the female entrepreneurs she interviews, suggesting their insights might help her build a more compelling brand and possibly guide her in launching a successful business of her own.
Despite the criticism, Confessions of a Female Founder aims to spotlight stories of women in leadership, as Meghan continues to reposition herself in the lifestyle and media space beyond her royal ties.
