Duchess’s fashion storefront projected to earn high commissions through curated luxury sales
Meghan Markle’s latest business venture could bring in a jaw-dropping revenue, with financial experts projecting that the Duchess of Sussex stands to make millions through her new online fashion store.
According to money and business coach Maddy Alexander-Grout, Meghan’s recently launched ShopMy storefront — featuring curated luxury fashion picks — has the potential to generate substantial income through commission-based sales.
“She could potentially earn millions from this and is probably earning a commission on every sale she makes,” Alexander-Grout told the Daily Mail.
With 2.6 million Instagram followers to market to, the financial expert estimates that “thousands and thousands of people” are likely to shop from the Duchess’s selections. She broke down the figures, explaining: “If she gets, say, 15 percent off a shirt that’s £128, she will be making £19.20. She will be selling thousands of those and could be making at least £19k from one linen shirt.”
The store, which launched on Monday, features high-end items such as a £1,068 gown and £600 Saint Laurent sandals. Meghan teased the debut with the caption: “Many of you have asked, so here you go! A little shopping to start the week.”
A notice on the storefront reveals that some links are commissionable, meaning Meghan receives a percentage from sales — marking a savvy commercial pivot since stepping away from royal duties in 2020.
The move comes after the couple’s departure from the monarchy, which barred them from profiting off their royal status through endorsements. Now, with her personal brand and fashion influence in full swing, Meghan’s new platform may be her most lucrative step yet.
