Meghan Markle has delighted fans with a touching revelation about her love story with Prince Harry, sharing a special promise he made before their wedding.
During a surprise appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, following the release of her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex opened up about her relationship with Harry, calling him "the funniest, sweetest, most charming, and an amazing father."
Barrymore playfully pointed out how affectionate the couple is, saying, "Every time I see a photo of you, you’re holding hands, you’re kissing—you are so hot for each other!"
Meghan, smiling, reflected on how meeting Harry was an unexpected but "lucky" surprise. She then recalled a conversation from her college babysitting days, when an uncle gave her advice about love.
"He told me, 'Meghan, when you meet your person, I want him to say the same thing I said to my wife when we got married: I vow to always date my wife.'"
The Duchess revealed that Harry embraced this sentiment from the beginning of their relationship.
"He vowed to always date me," she said. "So we have this connection because we’re so committed to treating each other the same way we did before there was a ring on it."
Her heartfelt confession has left fans swooning, reinforcing the couple’s deep bond and enduring romance.
