Palace Releases Stunning Photos of Catherine on St. Patrick’s Day

Princess of Wales Celebrates Irish Guards Parade with Special Message

Catherine made a striking return to public life as she attended the Irish Guards’ St. Patrick’s Day Parade in her role as Colonel of the regiment.

Dressed in a dark green Alexander McQueen ensemble, the Princess of Wales stole the spotlight at the parade, one of the most significant events in the Irish Guards’ calendar.

To mark the occasion, the Palace shared stunning photos of Catherine alongside a heartfelt message from the Princess.

“Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Great to be back to join the Irish Guards for their annual St. Patrick’s Day parade here at Wellington Barracks. Proud to be your Colonel, and celebrate 125 years of the regiment with you today,” she wrote.

Throughout the event, Catherine performed several ceremonial duties, reaffirming her commitment to her military patronage. She awarded long service and good conduct medals to soldiers within the regiment before presenting the traditional sprigs of shamrock to the Officers and Guardsmen.

She also participated in a beloved tradition, presenting a shamrock to the regiment’s mascot, an Irish Wolfhound.
