Broadcaster Mocks Duchess’s Netflix Show in Scathing Review
Piers Morgan has reignited his long-running feud with Meghan Markle, taking aim at her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, following his surprise return to Good Morning Britain.
The outspoken journalist, who made his first appearance on GMB in nearly four years, wasted no time criticising the Duchess of Sussex’s show, branding it “genuinely hilarious.”
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Morgan mocked the series, writing: “Appalled by the universally savage reviews for this heart-warming and inspirational new series about how to make coffee.” He further quipped, “I found all ten minutes that I could endure of it this morning genuinely hilarious!”
His remarks sparked mixed reactions online. While Meghan’s supporters dismissed his comments—one fan asking, “Piers, why are you always salty?”—others agreed with his critique, with one viewer admitting, “I gave her show a chance. Could only watch about 30 minutes.”
Morgan’s latest attack on Meghan comes just days after he rejoined GMB, where he reunited with former co-hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls. Acknowledging his return, he joked, “Hang on, are we just going to ignore the fact I haven’t been here for 1,453 days?”
His departure from the show in 2021 followed his controversial dismissal of Meghan’s claims during her Oprah Winfrey interview, which led to the most complained-about broadcast in Ofcom history. With his latest comments, it appears Morgan is not ready to move on from his ongoing criticism of the Duchess.
