Prince Andrew has been hit with shocking news about his former partner, Lady Victoria Hervey, who recently suffered a distressing incident in London.
The socialite and former model was mugged in Pimlico on Thursday evening, falling victim to a phone snatching incident by a thief riding an electric bike.
Lady Victoria, who briefly dated the Duke of York in 1999 and maintains close ties to the royal family, spoke about the ordeal, expressing her shock and frustration.
"A guy on an electric bike swiped it out of my hand and sped off with it. It's such a shock," she told MailOnline.
Despite tracking the device to a new location and providing police with the details, she lamented that law enforcement was unable to retrieve it.
"I sent the police the new address where it is, but I don't think they were able to enter the flat," she added.
Expressing her frustration over the rise in crime, she remarked:
"It's a major inconvenience. The UK right now is like Biden's America. We are going through the Biden years here right now."
The unsettling incident has once again highlighted growing concerns about street crime in London, with Lady Victoria calling for more action against such offences.
