Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Respond to ‘Small Win’ in US Visa Case

Duke and Duchess remain frustrated as legal saga continues to cause stress and disruption

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly relieved by a recent development in the ongoing legal battle over the Duke’s US visa application — though the couple remains frustrated by the case’s lingering impact.

A US court recently unsealed heavily redacted documents that did not reveal what Harry disclosed on his immigration form, particularly in relation to his past drug use, which he openly admitted to in his memoir Spare. The move followed a request by the Heritage Foundation, which had called for the Duke’s visa records to be made public.

According to Closer magazine, the Montecito-based couple sees the partial sealing of Harry’s application as a “small win” but continues to feel overwhelmed by the relentless attention and speculation.

“Harry and Meghan are sick to death of this saga,” a source shared. “They can’t believe it’s still dragging on and find it excruciatingly annoying how it always seems to rear its head at the worst possible time.”

The couple reportedly feels the case undermines the image they’ve worked hard to build. “They’ve cultivated a squeaky clean, wholesome and responsible image and want to appeal to families and ethically-minded professional types,” the insider added.

The ongoing legal battle is also said to be taking a toll on Meghan emotionally. “She hates to see him so stressed and upset,” the source noted, adding that despite the small victory, the pair remains “up to their necks” in the situation and feel they have “little to zero control” over it.
