Harry’s reported Netflix project may reignite royal tensions, expert claims
Harry may be heading toward fresh conflict with Prince William over reports that he is working on a three-part Netflix documentary about their late mother, Princess Diana.
Royal expert Rebecca English of the Daily Mail suggests that the project could put the brothers at odds, as William has reportedly adopted a more private stance on how their mother’s legacy should be handled.
Speaking on the Palace Confidential podcast, English noted that while both have been involved in past tributes, William now believes it’s time to step back. “Prince William has made it very clear that he believes it's time to let his mother's memory rest in peace,” she said.
The rumored documentary could challenge that sentiment, with concerns it may reopen old wounds between the siblings.
The subject of Diana’s legacy has already resurfaced in recent weeks, following Harry’s resignation from Sentebale — the charity he co-founded in her honour — due to internal disagreements.
