Catherine has made her stance clear regarding Harry and Meghan Markle’s reported plans to establish a temporary home in the UK, following their past criticism of the royal family.
According to Closer magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are in the early stages of securing a residence in Britain, aiming to spend summers in the UK and Europe. Their goal, sources say, is to "reconnect" with family, including the late Princess Diana’s relatives, the Spencers.
A source revealed that while a full-time move is not on the cards, the couple is actively looking for a suitable property, contingent on resolving security concerns. Their first stop is expected to be Althorp, Diana’s childhood home and final resting place.
However, the Princess of Wales remains cautious. The insider shared that Catherine is wary of further upheaval within the royal family, still feeling the impact of past tensions.
"She is open to repairing her relationship with Harry but remains deeply protective of the family," the source stated. "She felt that Meghan sought to damage the royals, and she won’t allow that to happen again."
