Talent Agency Confirms Ongoing Partnership Amid Hollywood Rumors
William Morris Endeavor (WME) has officially denied claims that it has severed ties with Meghan Markle, reaffirming its continued representation of the Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan, 43, signed with the prestigious talent agency in 2023, joining a roster that includes industry heavyweights such as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Serena Williams. However, recent reports suggested that WME had distanced itself from her, allegedly due to high demands and a reported dispute with CEO Ari Emanuel in early 2023.
Despite these claims, WME has confirmed that it still represents both Meghan and her media organisation, Archewell.
Speculation surrounding Meghan's Hollywood standing intensified after her and Prince Harry’s absence from WME’s exclusive post-Emmys event at the Waldorf Astoria, which was attended by A-list stars like Kevin Costner, Brie Larson, and Javier Bardem. Further scrutiny arose following The Hollywood Reporter’s article, Why Hollywood Keeps Quitting on Harry and Meghan, which highlighted a series of high-profile staff departures, including their chief of staff, Josh Kettler, who resigned after just three months.
While WME’s statement affirms that Meghan remains on their client list, the nature and extent of their collaboration continue to be a subject of industry speculation.
