Buckingham Palace has confirmed that King Charles and Queen Camilla will reunite with Prince William and Princess Kate to lead the nation in commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
According to The Daily Mail, key members of the Royal Family — including the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Anne and Sir Tim Laurence, and the Duke of Kent — will join the monarchs at the Queen Victoria Memorial outside Buckingham Palace to observe military units processing down The Mall.
The Prince and Princess of Wales' children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — might also make a special appearance, although official confirmation is still pending.
The day’s events will include a Buckingham Palace balcony appearance to watch a military fly-past, alongside dignitaries including Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.
King Charles, who serves as patron of the Royal British Legion, will further mark the occasion by hosting a tea party for around 50 veterans and citizens who lived through the Second World War, with Queen Camilla by his side.
This will mark the first public reunion of King Charles, Prince William, and Princess Kate since Commonwealth Day celebrations in March, underlining a strong show of unity within the Royal Family at a significant national moment.
