Princess Kate’s Brother Opens Up About Living Close to Relatives in Berkshire Countryside
James Middleton has shared some heartwarming insights into the tight-knit nature of the Middleton family, revealing just how closely they all live to one another in the Berkshire countryside.
In a recent interview, James, 37, explained that his parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, live only five minutes away from the home he shares with his wife, Alizée Thevenet, and their young son.
His sisters are not far either—Pippa Matthews and her husband are around 20 minutes away, while the Prince and Princess of Wales are roughly a half-hour drive from his home.
“We are very close as a family, and it’s really special to be able to see each other regularly,” James said. “My parents are great at bringing us all together.”
Reflecting on his childhood in the area, he described the benefits of living so near to his family, which allows for frequent visits and shared moments.
James also added a humorous memory, recalling a long-running family joke that Prince William needed to be a dog lover to truly blend into the Middleton clan—well known for their affection for animals.
