Duchess of Sussex drops new episode of ‘Confessions of a Female Founder’ amid royal anniversary news
Meghan Markle has released a fresh episode of her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, just hours after Kensington Palace revealed Prince William and Princess Kate’s upcoming visit to the Scottish Isles.
Taking to Instagram, the Duchess of Sussex shared a video teaser from her latest episode, featuring a heartfelt conversation with her close friend and entrepreneur, Kadi Lee, founder of Highbrow Hippie. The episode, released in collaboration with Lemonada Media, offers what’s described as “a candid and soulful conversation” on the early challenges of launching a business.
Meghan and Lee discuss their personal experiences with “scrappy beginnings,” the emotional toll of entrepreneurship, and the perseverance needed to build something from the ground up.
The timing of the podcast update comes shortly after Kensington Palace announced that the Prince and Princess of Wales—using their Scottish titles, the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay—will embark on a two-day tour of the Isles of Mull and Iona on April 29 and 30. The royal visit will focus on connecting with local communities and supporting environmental causes, and will also coincide with William and Kate’s 14th wedding anniversary.
While both couples continue to focus on separate ventures, the overlap in announcements once again highlights the parallel yet distinctly different paths taken by the Sussexes and the Waleses.
