Meghan Markle is forging ahead with new ambitions, showing no signs of slowing down despite recent backlash and ongoing royal tensions.
During her appearance at the TIME100 Summit in New York City, the Duchess of Sussex revealed that she is now focused on investing in female-founded companies, building on the success of her previous ventures including her Netflix projects, podcast series, and her lifestyle brand As Ever.
“That is very, very important to me because they are so under-resourced and under-supported,” Meghan said, according to Inc.
The former Suits actress has already invested in several consumer and wellness brands, such as Highbrow Hippie, Clevr Blends, and the women’s health startup Midi Health, which focuses on supporting women through perimenopause and menopause.
Following her New York appearance, Meghan shared a heartfelt statement via the Sussexes’ official website, reflecting on her mission to “lead with purpose, create with care, and build a legacy that champions women and uplifts communities.”
The statement also highlighted her personal reflections on balancing motherhood, creativity, and public life, offering a rare glimpse into the values guiding her latest ventures.
As she steps into this new phase of her entrepreneurial journey, Meghan appears determined to carve out a lasting impact by championing women’s empowerment and social change.
