Prince Harry and Meghan Push Back After Explosive Sentebale Allegations

Sources defend Sussexes as charity row deepens following claims of ‘bullying’ and mismanagement

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have responded through close sources following a bombshell interview by Sentebale chair Dr. Sophie Chandauka, who levelled serious allegations against the Duke over his departure from the charity.

In a recent interview with Sky News, Dr. Chandauka accused Harry of “bullying at scale” and claimed he had “unleashed the Sussex machine” against her and Sentebale’s 540 staff members after announcing his resignation.

While the Sussexes have made no direct public statement, sources close to the couple told Mail Online that the allegations are “largely inaccurate” and “baseless.” The insider pushback is viewed as a calculated effort to counter the claims without engaging in a direct public dispute.

The sources particularly refuted Dr. Chandauka’s narrative surrounding Meghan’s surprise appearance at a Miami fundraising polo match, calling her account of the event and Netflix’s involvement “highly misleading.”

They also challenged claims that Harry’s departure from the royal family led to a drop in charity support. According to insiders, any revenue losses predated Dr. Chandauka’s appointment as chair in 2023, and Sentebale was in a stable financial position at the time.

Furthermore, the sources placed blame for recent turmoil on Chandauka’s leadership, suggesting that the resignation of trustees—including Prince Harry—was “a direct result of the chair’s mismanagement.”

The controversy has intensified scrutiny over Harry’s post-royal charitable work, placing the Sussexes once again at the center of a growing public and media debate.
