Duchess Sophie’s historic visit to Ukraine has seemingly inspired Prince Harry to take a courageous step of his own, with the Duke of Sussex making a secret trip to the war-torn nation — a move viewed by some as a subtle message to King Charles.
Harry, who served nearly a decade in the British Army, travelled to Lviv to visit the Superhumans Center, a facility dedicated to treating and rehabilitating injured military personnel and civilians. His visit comes shortly after Duchess Sophie became the first royal to enter Ukraine since the conflict with Russia began.
Royal commentator Michael Cole praised the Duchess for her trailblazing efforts and noted that Harry’s background made him uniquely suited for such a mission. “It’s exactly the sort of job that Prince Harry should have been doing,” Cole remarked, referencing the Duke’s military service and creation of the Invictus Games.
