Bodyguards intervene after supporter disrupts proceedings during Duke’s UK legal battle
Harry was swiftly escorted from a London courtroom by his bodyguards following a brief security scare during the final day of his legal proceedings against the Home Office.
The Duke of Sussex, who is fighting to have his police protection reinstated while in the UK, was shielded and rushed out of the Royal Courts of Justice after a chaotic moment involving a disruptive woman in the public gallery.
According to reports, the woman—described as a supporter of the Duke—arrived late, drawing attention with her erratic behaviour. Court observers noted she repeatedly shifted in her seat, fidgeted with two phones and a notebook, and appeared increasingly agitated, prompting concern from Harry’s security team.
Before a private session on sensitive security matters could begin, the woman suddenly stood up and shouted, “I support you Prince Harry,” as the Duke passed by her at close range. His security detail, including lead bodyguard Dave Langdown, immediately formed a protective barrier and escorted him out of the room.
Moments later, the woman turned to the press gallery and exclaimed, “If you're members of the press, you're the reason he's not in England,” before being removed from the building by court staff.
Harry returned once the situation was under control, continuing with the closed-door session as he awaits a decision in the case that could impact his ability to safely visit the UK in future.
