Prince William and Kate Spark Concern After Skipping Royal Easter Tradition

Wales Family Chooses Private Celebration, Leaves Crowd Waiting Outside Church

Prince William and Princess Kate left royal fans both surprised and concerned after making the unexpected decision to skip the traditional Easter gathering at Windsor Castle, instead celebrating the holiday privately in Sandringham.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were joined by their three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—and Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, for a low-key service at St Mary Magdalene Church on Sunday.

In a move that shocked waiting fans, the family reportedly exited through the back entrance of the venue, avoiding the large crowd gathered outside hoping to see them. According to Hello!, “Despite a large crowd of well-wishers eagerly gathering outside the church, they were unable to catch sight of the Royal Family, who left via the back entrance.”

The decision allowed the family to enjoy a quiet Easter weekend at their countryside residence, Anmer Hall, gifted to them by the late Queen Elizabeth II after their 2011 wedding. The Wales family attended the 11am service at the historic church located just minutes from their home.

An eyewitness shared that Princess Kate wore a long camel coat paired with a brown trilby hat, while Prince William was dressed in a dark suit.

Meanwhile, King Charles and Queen Camilla led the formal Easter service at Windsor, accompanied by senior royals including Princess Anne, Prince Edward, Duchess Sophie, Prince Andrew, and others.

The Wales family's absence from the main royal event and their discreet departure have left many fans speculating, especially as questions surrounding Kate's health and the couple’s future public roles remain ongoing.
