Royal couple follow King Charles and Queen Camilla’s lead by marking milestone on official tour
Prince William and Princess Kate will mark their 14th wedding anniversary in a meaningful way this year—by honouring their special day while on royal duty in Scotland.
The Prince and Princess of Wales are set to celebrate their anniversary on April 29 during a two-day visit to the Scottish Isles, as confirmed by Kensington Palace. The trip, which highlights themes of community and environmental conservation, mirrors how King Charles and Queen Camilla marked their own 20th anniversary during an official tour of Italy.
According to Hello! Magazine, William and Kate will visit the town of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull on their anniversary day. There, the couple is expected to engage with a local community hub and explore an artisan market as part of their scheduled events.
A spokesperson for the couple shared, “During their visit to the Scottish Isles, Their Royal Highnesses will spend time with members of the local community reflecting on the power of social connection and the importance of protecting and championing the natural environment, two subjects which are close to both of Their Royal Highnesses’ hearts.”
The move suggests a growing royal tradition of celebrating personal milestones while continuing public service—blending private moments with official commitments, much like the King and Queen have done in recent years.
