William and Rashford had previously met during the 2021 MBE ceremony at Windsor Castle, where the Prince honored the striker for his tireless campaigning against child food poverty. Still, insiders insist that the royal had no influence on Rashford’s club decision.
Rashford reportedly chose Aston Villa over several other offers, drawn by the team’s playing style and manager Unai Emery’s vision for the future.
