Prince William reportedly urges King Charles to take decisive action as Sussexes enter 'panic mode'
Harry and Meghan Markle are said to be reeling after receiving troubling news from within the royal family concerning their titles, according to reports.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who lost their ‘HRH’ styles following their 2020 royal exit, have continued using the Sussex name—something Meghan has notably incorporated into her business ventures, including her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
However, Princess Eugenie—reportedly still one of the few royals in contact with the couple—has allegedly informed them of behind-the-scenes discussions that could see them stripped of their titles entirely. The warning comes amid mounting pressure from Prince William, who is said to be urging King Charles to take firm action against the couple.
According to Closer magazine, senior royals are now “seriously considering stripping Harry and Meghan of their royal titles for good” in a move to distance the monarchy from ongoing controversies. An insider claimed the family is “more keen than ever to finally put an end to the drama that the Sussexes have brought to their door.”
The news has reportedly left Meghan worried, particularly over how losing the Sussex title might impact her brand and public image. Sources say the couple has entered “panic mode,” especially as they face declining influence in the US.
