Camilla and Prince William accused of blocking Harry from seeing King Charles amid health concerns
Queen Camilla is said to be "boiling with rage" at the idea of Prince Harry returning to the royal fold, as tensions continue to simmer within the monarchy, according to new claims reported by RadarOnline.
The Duke of Sussex reportedly hopes to be closer to his father amid King Charles III's ongoing cancer treatment, but insiders suggest his attempts at reconciliation are being blocked by both Queen Camilla and Prince William—two of the most senior figures in the royal family.
The latest friction comes just weeks after King Charles, 76, was taken to hospital on March 27 for observation following "temporary side effects" related to his cancer treatment, forcing him to postpone multiple engagements. With the King’s health under renewed scrutiny, Harry's desire to reconnect has sparked intense debate behind Palace walls.
Camilla, 77, is reportedly incensed at the thought of Harry’s presence, with sources claiming she and Prince William, 42, are united in keeping him at a distance. The pair are said to have “let it be known” that they don’t want the Duke anywhere near the ailing monarch.
The strained relationships stem largely from Harry’s 2023 memoir Spare and a series of explosive interviews in which he accused Camilla of being manipulative and labelled William as short-tempered and competitive. The fallout from his and Meghan Markle’s royal exit in 2020 continues to reverberate.
Despite the animosity, Harry previously made headlines when he rushed to visit his father after news broke of the King’s cancer diagnosis earlier this year. However, the visit was brief—lasting just 24 hours—before Harry returned to his home in Montecito, California.
Whether another visit is on the cards remains to be seen, but the tension surrounding Harry’s standing within the royal family shows little sign of easing.
