Meghan Markle and Prince Harry arrive in Canada to support special cause

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have travelled to Canada to support their longtime friend, music producer David Foster.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended an event marking 40 years of fundraising for the David Foster Foundation, according to People. The couple, who reportedly made the trip without Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, were photographed with Foster and his wife, Katharine McPhee.

For the occasion, Meghan reportedly wore diamond and sapphire earrings that once belonged to Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana.

Foster, 76, is believed to have helped Harry and Meghan find the Vancouver Island home where they stayed in 2019 before moving to California. Their appearance at the anniversary celebration suggests the friendship has remained strong over the years.

The Canada visit reportedly came two weeks after the Sussexes travelled to the UK with their children for a private reunion with King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House in western England.

The reported gathering marked Charles’ first meeting with Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, since 2022.

A palace source described it as a private family occasion and said photographs, video footage and further details would not be released.

Harry and Meghan later returned to California. Before the UK trip, the Duke had reportedly been involved in discussions with the palace over his security arrangements and accommodation.

His five-day visit also included charity engagements and proceedings connected to a major privacy case he brought against the British media.
